TUNING OUR GUITAR
Every time you pick up your guitar you need to tune it.
First let's click on the link audio track with guitar and voice.
Tuning Audio Lesson Tune your guitar starting with the
3rd or "G" Then follow the pattern on the sample audio track.
The reason is to not "Twist" the neck and get an even string
pressure from the center of the neck out. We also get in tune faster.
Standard Tuning is: Low E - A - D - G - B - E High
6th string Low E - 5th string A - 4th string D -
3rd string G - 2nd string B - 1st string High E
The first string or #1 on any stringed instrument is always the
highest "Pitch" string
READING TAB
It is really easy if you take a couple steps right now so later you are
able to understand the basic's. They are the most important.
Start with Reading Tablature It will only take a minute and the girl
narrates it to you.
READING POWERTAB
Go to Powertabs . It is short and is narrated by. Takes a minute.
This is if you want to download Powertabs 1.7 Two versions are available
Powertabs 1.7 is for PC yet there is a converter for MAC.
